Oh, how good it feels:
The light that
Escapes my heart,
Shining bright,
Like a thousand suns
Breaking through little gaps
In the trees
Leaving dancing shadows
On the path.
Oh, how sweet; how lovely!
That our emotions
Transcribe to
Letters and colours;
Patterns and shapes -
How we sway
With the rhythm of
Anger, just for a minute;
Hands interlocked with a
Shared intensity.
Oh! How great is our
imagination?
Let passion
Be the only way
Of living;
For my exceeding amounts
Of ardour
Cannot be left
To rot.
There is a romance
To our minds
And our hands.
Always alike -
conjoined.
